You can test during our convenient testing windows three times per year. This allows you see your child’s growth over time.
Testing covers three subjects – math, reading, and writing, so that you can make sure your child is meeting all of their goals in these key areas.
It’s one low price for all three subjects – math, reading, and writing – for the entire year for both testing sessions. No worries about paying per test!
The assessment data will give you a detailed report of skills that need reinforcement and what your child is ready to work on next.
Once you receive your child’s results, you will also gain access to a video guide that walks you through how to make sense of the data so you can put it to use in your homeschool!
Your child’s assessment report is a great asset to your state portfolio as it will outline skills your child has mastered as well their growth over time.

The ABT doesn’t just give your child a “grade”,
instead, it gives you a clear roadmap
showing you what your child does really well and what you should focus on next.
Assessments are not all about pointing out the bad, it’s about seeing what’s working and what’s not. That’s why in addition to showing you areas for growth, the ABT will allow you to quickly see what your child does well so that you can CELEBRATE it!
Once you register, you will be able to create testing profiles and sign your academic integrity commitment for each of your children.

Assessments have a bad rep but when done right they are actually SO GOOD for homeschool families.
Assessing your children allows you to celebrate what is working well and gives you clear insight on what you should work on next. The ABT is a research-based, low-stress way to get real insights about what is happening in your homeschool to empower you to make data-driven decisions.
Your child may take all three tests (Reading, Math, and Writing) once every season (Fall, Winter, and Spring). This is approximately every 10 weeks.

If your child misses the testing window, they can simply test the next month.
The subjects covered in the assessments are Reading, Language (Writing), and Math. Test are also available in Spanish upon request. There is no additional charge for Spanish test.
These assessments are a great asset to state portfolios and can demonstrate the skills that your child has developed throughout the year. The tests also measure your child’s growth and show the skills that they should focus on developing going forward.
This test uses national academic standards and puts your child on a learning continuum so you can see where they are in comparison to their peers.
